I just can't catch a break with these video thumbnails.
Anyway! The thing I'm most concerned about regarding my pitches are making them comprehensible for everyone to be able to understand, so I updated some of my content to reflect my frustrations in a more humorous, relatable way. I updated my hook and closing to make them less clunky, and generally just tried to present this in a more natural manner. My feedback from my first elevator pitch was mostly positive, I was surprised that the pitch came through to people at all.
Haley,
ReplyDeleteI thought your first pitch was great but this one was even better. The new opening you used made it great from the start. Also, your pitch seemed to flow a little bit more but the first one was good as well. Overall I think this is a good pitch and easy for the audience to follow.
Hello there again Haley! Okay, I know people expect elevator pitches to be all businesslike and whatnot, but I really enjoyed your intro for this one—I laughed at your expression when you said “weird creepy fetish artwork” because it was just so priceless yet relatable and true. And don’t apologize for “dorkiness”—it’s actually really charming and fresh as opposed to the boring robotic presentations some people tend to give. You’d make a great public speaker actually. Seriously!
